Armed robbery at 1608 Chapel Hill Road

COLUMBIA, MO (August 6, 2016) - Columbia Police officers were dispatched today at 9:31 a.m. to 1608 Chapel Hill Road, Kilgores Pharmacy, in reference to a robbery with a gun.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed a male suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded narcotics from a locked cabinet. The suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of narcotics and fled the scene in a light colored vehicle. There were no reported injuries or property damage as a result of the robbery.

 

The suspect is described as a male between 25 to 40-years-old , approximately 5’10” and a skinny build. He was last seen wearing baggy clothing. The investigation is on-going.
