Shots fired in the 1500 block of Sylvan Lane

COLUMBIA, MO (August 15, 2016) - Today at 12:53 a.m., Columbia Police officers responded to the area of Whitegate Drive and Sylvan Lane in reference to shots heard.

 

The investigation revealed a suspect armed with a handgun fired shots towards the southeast corner of Whitegate Drive and Sylvan Lane. Multiple rounds struck a residence in the 1500 block of Sylvan Lane. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fired rounds. The amount of property damage is unknown at this time. The investigation is on-going.
