Columbia Utilities billing office closed the end of next week

COLUMBIA, MO (August 17, 2016) - The City of Columbia Utilities Department is updating its billing software. While the old system is shut down and the new one put in place, the billing office will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 25 and Friday, Aug. 26. The Utility Customer Service office will be closed to walk-in customers, phone calls and e-mails. The City of Columbia’s cashiers’ office will be open so utility payments can be accepted if a customer brings in their bill. The cashiers can also take payments for other city services. The drive-thru and the payment box behind City Hall will be available for people to drop off payments. Online services at CoMo.gov will be available so customers can make payments, signup for new services, transfer services or disconnect services. The billing office will open again on Monday, Aug. 29.
