City accepting applications for boards and commissions

COLUMBIA, MO (August 17, 2016) - The Columbia city clerk is accepting applications for boards and commissions. Applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Office, 701 E. Broadway, second floor, by 5 p.m. Friday, September 2. Applications are available at the clerk’s office or on the city’s website at CoMo.gov on the City Council page. The following are current boards and commissions openings:  


*Bicycle/Pedestrian Commission

*Board of Electrical Examiners

*Board of Mechanical Examiners

*Board of Plumbing Examiners

*Building Construction Codes Commission

*City of Columbia New Century Fund, Inc. Board

*Columbia Community Development Commission

*Columbia Housing Authority Board

*Columbia Vision Commission

*Convention and Visitors Advisory Board

*Personnel Advisory Board

*Public Transit Advisory Commission
