Board of Health seeks input regarding tobacco retail licensing

COLUMBIA, MO (August 30, 2016) - WHO:  Columbia/Boone County Board of Health

 

WHAT:  Public meeting regarding changing the City Code to require tobacco retail licensing.

  

Meeting will include:

                  1) Presentation by Michelle Shikles, health promotion supervisor, regarding

                            implementation of tobacco retail licensing requirements in other municipalities.

                  2) Public comment

 

WHERE:  Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services,

                           1005 W. Worley, Columbia, MO

 

WHEN:   Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, 5:30 p.m.

 

WHY:    The Board of Health invites members of the public to provide comment on possible

            changes to the City Code to require licensing of tobacco retailers.
