SHOOTING IN THE 100 BLOCK OF THIRD AVENUE

COLUMBIA, MO (August 30, 2016) -                                       SHOOTING IN THE 100 BLOCK OF THIRD AVENUE

 

On 8/30/16 at 1:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Third Avenue in reference to a gunshot wound.

 

Officers arrived on scene and located a male subject with a gunshot wound.  The male was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury.  Officers searched the residence and located no one else inside.  The area schools were temporarily locked down for approximately 30 minutes.

 

There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
