Mayor Brian Treece to host Press Conference regarding Medical Tourism Task Force

COLUMBIA, MO (August 30, 2016) - Mayor Brian Treece will host a press conference on Wednesday, August 31 at 10:00 am to announce the formation of a Mayors Task Force on Medical Tourism. The press conference will be hosted in the City Council Chambers at 701 E Broadway. The press conference will be streamed live on CoMo.gov.

The nine member task force will study and evaluate Columbia as a destination for health care services, to include support services and amenities and collaborative efforts to welcome and support patients and families in terms of transportation, hotel reservations, etc.
