Search warrant at 2102 Paris Road

COLUMBIA, MO (February 19, 2016) - On 2/19/16 at 4:30 p.m., detectives with the Vice Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit (VNOC) and the Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant at 2102 Paris Road, Ultra Mart Convenience Store, for evidence related to distribution of synthetic cannabinoids (“K2”).

 

Detectives seized a significant amount of what they believe to be K2 that was being sold from the business. The substances will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Lab for chemical analysis.

 

While this investigation is primarily a Columbia Police Department investigation, assistance has been received during the course of the investigation from Missouri State Highway Patrol and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force. Charges are currently pending and the investigation is on-going.
