Public Works crew working overnight to combat refreeze

COLUMBIA, MO (January 9, 2016) - A new 8 person crew took over street operations at 7:00 p.m. and will work overnight monitoring refreeze and treating trouble areas. 

Slick spots exist around town in areas where salt was ineffective and customers are urged to use extreme caution if traveling. Quickly dropping temperatures will refreeze areas that still remain wet from melted snow.
