Community Development Needs Public Hearing January 13

COLUMBIA, MO (January 11, 2016) - The City of Columbia Community Development Commission (CDC) will be holding a Community Development Needs Public Hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in conference room 1B at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.  The CDC holds a public hearing each year to ensure its current five year Consolidated Plan and plans for utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds address the most current community development needs.  Current community development needs contained with the current 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan can be viewed here: needs, goals, and deliverables.  The CDC will take public comment regarding community development needs at the Jan. 13 public hearing and determine if recommendations for changes be brought forward for City Council consideration.
