City offices closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

COLUMBIA, MO (January 11, 2016) - City of Columbia offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Residential refuse and recycling will not be made Jan. 18 and will be delayed one day. Questions concerning holiday refuse collection should be directed to the Columbia Utilities Solid Waste Division at 573-874-2489.

COMO Connect, Columbia's public transit system, will not operate Jan. 18. The sanitary landfill will be closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced. Though administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed Jan. 18, all other emergency services will be available.
