Commercial Structure Fire (100 Business Loop 70 E)

COLUMBIA, MO (June 21, 2016) - On Tuesday, 06/21/16 at 9:10 a.m. the Columbia Fire Department responded to a reported commercial structure fire at 100 Business Loop 70 East (Burger King.)  

Columbia Firefighters arrived on the 9:14 a.m. to find a smokey haze in the structure.  

Fire Crews conducted an investigation of the structure and roof area to locate the source generating the smoke.  Fire crews discovered an overheated motor in a HVAC unit on the roof, which caused the smokey haze in the structure.  

There were no reported injuries.
