Free COMO Connect bus rides on Election Day

COLUMBIA, MO (March 11, 2016) - COMO Connect will offer free bus rides on days that are considered an “Election Day” in Columbia. Election polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; buses will run normal routes and normal operating hours which are 6:25 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The following are designated days for elections in Boone County for 2016:

March 15 – Presidential primary and City of Columbia proposition 1

April 5 – General municipal election

August 2 – Primary election

November 8 – General election

Thank you to Columbia resident Katie Huddlestonsmith who suggested the idea of free bus rides on Election Day.
