City accepting applications for boards and commissions

COLUMBIA, MO (March 28, 2016) - The Columbia city clerk is accepting applications for boards and commissions. Applications must be received by the City Clerk's Office, 701 E. Broadway, second floor, by 5 p.m. Friday, April 8. Applications are available at the clerk's office or on the city's website at GoColumbiaMo.com on the City Council page. The following are current boards and commissions openings:  


*Board of Adjustment

*Board of Electrical Examiners

*Board of Mechanical Examiners

*Board of Plumbing Examiners

*Building Construction Codes Commission

*Columbia Community Development Commission

*Columbia Vision Commission

*Downtown Leadership Council

*Human Services Commission

*Integrated Water Resource Planning Committee

*Liquor License Review Board

*Mayor's Council on Physical Fitness and Health

*Planning and Zoning Commission
