Shots fired near Providence Road & Vandiver Drive, Country Squire Court & Creasy Springs Road

COLUMBIA, MO (September 11, 2016) - Today, at 2:16 a.m., Columbia Police officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Providence Road in reference to shots heard.

 

During the investigation, officers were able to make contact with a male victim, 24, who reported subjects in two separate vehicles began firing rounds at his vehicle at the intersection of Providence Road and Vandiver Drive. The victim reported the vehicles proceeded to follow him to the area of Country Squire Court and Creasy Springs Road where additional shots were fired. Officers located shell casings at both locations. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fired rounds. The investigation is on-going.
