Vehicle Damages Structure in South Columbia
COLUMBIA, MO (September 12, 2016) - On Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at 5:49 PM, one unit from the Columbia Fire Department and one University Hospital Medic Unit were dispatched to 1262 Old Plank Road for a vehicle into a building.
Crews arrived to find a passenger vehicle with its front end into the residence. The medic crew evaluated the driver, but did not transport to the hospital. Two subjects were in the residence, but were uninjured. A representative with Building and Site Development responded to evaluate the stability of the structure. Fire crews assisted stabilizing the structure with equipment from the fire department Technical Rescue Truck.
