NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CATSO BYLAWS ANDTHE CATSO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, ANDFOR PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE                              CATSO MAJOR ROADWAY PLAN 
 
Notice is hereby given of a public comment period on the following documents pertaining to the Columbia Area Transportation Study Organization (CATSO): 
 
CATSO Bylaws
CATSO Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
CATSO Major Roadway Plan (MRP)
 
The public is welcome to make comments on the proposals listed above. The draft versions of the Bylaws, MOU, and a map of the proposed MRP amendment are available for public review on the CATSO section of the City of Columbiawebsite at:

 The proposals will be considered for approval at public hearings to be held at the quarterly meeting of the CATSO Coordinating Committee, located in the City Council Chambers of the Daniel Boone Building new addition, 701 East Broadway, Columbia, Missouri, on August 26, 2010, at 2:30 p.m.

CATSO is designated as a Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and is organized for the purpose of coordinating transportation planning efforts in the Columbiaurbanized and metropolitan planning area. CATSO is composed of representatives of the City of Columbia, BooneCounty, and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).
