If you think your head is filled with trivial knowledge or if you have
friends who know the most unusual facts get everyone together for a fun
filled evening at the annual Special Olympics Trivia Night Fundraiser.

The event is co-sponsored with the Columbia Police Department and will
be held on Friday, May 6th at the Cosmo Club, 1715 Burlington from 7-10
p.m.  Teams of 8 compete in 10 rounds of 10 questions that challenge the
genius in everyone.  Categories include:  sports, geography, arts and
entertainment, science and potpourri.  Prizes will be given to teams
with the most correct and most incorrect answers.

A silent auction will be sponsored by our very own Columbia Parks &
Recreation families to help raise money for training and equipment costs
here in the Central Area.  Each family is requested to donate one item
to be bid on for the auction.  You can turn your items into Frances by
Wednesday, April 27 at the ARC, 1701 W. Ash.

We will also need some athletes to work this event.  They will be
collecting answer sheets, greeting the participants and handing out
information.   It is requested the athletes wear their gray polo shirts
for this event.  Athletes who want to participate or need a polo shirt
can call Frances at 874-7312.
