Volunteers Needed for Community Choices Open House

Preparations for the September 13 Community Choices Open House are underway.  There are several volunteer opportunities for the Community Choices event which will give the residents a chance to review the Vision plan and rank their personal priorities for Columbia's future.

The Community Choice Open House will take place between noon and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13 in the Kimball Ball Room in Lela Raney Wood Hall, Stephens College at 6 North College Avenue.

Volunteers are needed for the following tasks at Lela Raney Wood Hall:
- Set up: 7:30-10:00 a.m. 
- Registration, food, and general assistance: noon-2 p.m., 2-4 p.m., 4-6 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. 
- Tear down:  beginning at 8:00 p.m. 

Volunteers are also needed that evening at two Twilight Festival locations from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. 
- Passing out information at Twilight Festival Booth at 9th & Broadway
- Assistance at the 10th & Broadway Shuttle Stop which will offer transportation between the festival and open house.
