Good Morning!

Just a quick reminder that starting this week, Lange Middle School will
be the summer home of the Citizen Topic Group Visioning Meetings. The
next meeting will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 6 - 8 p.m., at Lange
Middle School, 2201 Smiley Lane.

The school doors will be posted with meeting locations, and volunteers
will have maps for the various rooms assignments. A copy of the map is
also available at
http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/Public_Comm/Visioning/documents/school_map0708.pdf.

At this meeting, the Citizen Topic Group volunteers will begin a
Community Resources Scan. This activity will help identify what
community resources, initiatives and organizations should be involved
with each specific goal and strategy. It will also help the groups
define what actions are needed for successful implementation of each
strategy.

This is an important step in turning Columbia’s vision into reality.
