Good Afternoon!
Just one last reminder that tonight's Citizen Topic Group Meeting is
from 6 - 8 p.m. at Lange Middle School, 2201 Smiley Lane.
The meetings are moving from West Junior for the summer. The school
doors will be posted with meeting locations, and volunteers will have
maps for the various rooms assignments. A copy of the map is also
available at
http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/Public_Comm/Visioning/documents/school_map0708.pdf.
At this meeting, the Citizen Topic Group volunteers will begin a
Community Resources Scan. This activity will help identify what
community resources, initiatives and organizations should be involved
with each specific goal and strategy. It will also help the groups
define what actions are needed for successful implementation of each
strategy.
This is an important step in turning Columbia’s vision into reality.
