Bowl For Gold

COLUMBIA, MO (August 16, 2004) -- Special Olympics Missouri - Central
Area will host its annual fundraiser, the Bowl for Gold Tournament, on
Saturday, Aug. 21, from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., at Town & Country Lanes, 1508
N. Providence Road. The event will include a silent auction and raffle.
Proceeds will help with the cost of training, uniforms, equipment and
facility fees for the 13,000 athletes across the state of Missouri.

Enter the tournament as an individual or a team of five. Cost per
individual is $25, plus a minimum of $25 in pledges. Team cost is $125.
Bowlers are encouraged to raise as many donations as possible. Awards
will be presented the day of the event. 

Bowl for Gold, a major Special Olympics fundraiser, is a great way to
have fun and support Special Olympics at the same time. Good bowling
skills are not required!
