Temporary closure of alley between Ninth Street and Tenth Street,
immediately south of Cherry Street

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 7 a.m., J.D. Kelly
Excavating, the contractor working for Callahan & Galloway, will begin
sewer repair work on a building at 920 Cherry Street. This work will
result in the closure of the alley that runs between Ninth Street and
Tenth Street and is located immediately south of Cherry Street. 
	The work should be completed and the alley should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Friday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
