New driver speed information sign
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces the operation of a new 3M Speed Display Board at Shepard
Boulevard Elementary School. This new sign will provide feedback to
motorists traveling north on Audubon Drive in their approach to the
elementary school.
Speed limit in this school zone is 20 mph. The non-recording
radar unit will display speeds in conjunction with the school speed zone
sign assembly, serving as a reminder to slow down in the school zone.
3M Corporation, Shepard Boulevard Elementary School's Partner
in Education, donated this sign to the school and installation was
coordinated through the city of Columbia Public Works Department. The
sign is now in operation.
For additional information, contact the city of Columbia Public
Works Department.
