Storm drainage repair scheduled

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced that the
Storm       Water Utility Division will begin repair of a storm water
inlet on Monday, Sept. 20, in the alley south of Broadway, between 8th
Street and 7th Street behind Boone County Bank.
	The alley will be closed to thru traffic and pedestrian traffic
may be obstructed  due to the repair. Working hours are from 8 a.m. to
4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The alley is expected to reopen on Friday Sept. 24.
	Motorists and Pedestrians  are urged to take alternate routes.
Anyone having questions related to the construction work planned should
call the Storm Water Utility Division at (573) 874-6289.
