Chip and seal maintenance 
  
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced that the
Street Division will complete its annual seal coat maintenance program
Tuesday, Aug. 30, through Friday, Sept. 2, from 7 a.m. to 3 :30 p.m.,
weather permitting, on the following streets: 
	Banks Avenue - Sexton Road to Worley Street; Pendleton Street -
east end to LaSalle Place; Hirth Avenue - Ash Street to Worley Street;
Independence Avenue - Mikel Street to south end; Broadhead Street - east
end to Anderson Avenue; Doris Drive - Texas Avenue to Texas Avenue; Lamp
Lane - Boyd Lane to Starlight Drive; Fern Flower Court - Spring Cress
Drive to west end; Robert Ray Court - east end to Robert Ray Drive;
Robert Ray Drive - north end to Clark Lane; Dawn Ridge Road - north end
to Clark Lane; Evergreen Lane - east end to Woodridge Drive; Evergreen
Lane - Woodridge Drive to Woodridge Drive; Bucks Run Street - north end
to Shepard Boulevard; Roosevelt Avenue - Lenoir Street to Sugar Grove
Lane; Cliff Drive - Ann Street to Hilltop Drive; Brighton Street -
William Street to Ripley Street; Fourth Avenue - Conley Avenue to Turner
Avenue; Lancaster Drive - Fifth Street to Sixth Street
Ninth Street - Rogers Street to Park Avenue; Walnut Street - College
Avenue to Short Street; Capen Park Drive - Rock Quarry Road to south
end; and alley south of Wilkes Boulevard - College Avenue to Fay
Street.
	Care should be exercised when driving in the work area and, when
possible, alternate routes should be used. Anyone having questions
related to the work planned should call the Street Division at
874-6289.
