Closure of Ninth Street between University Avenue and Missouri Avenue
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, May 16, at 7 a.m., J. Louis Crum
Corp., the contractor working for the University of Missouri, will begin
construction of underground utilities. This work will result in the
closure of Ninth Street between University Avenue and Missouri Avenue.
	The work should be completed and the street should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Monday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
