Temporary closure of Locust Street
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Tuesday, March 21, at 7 a.m., Drummond
Mechanical, the contractor working for the Missouri Theater, will begin
a crane lift operation for placement of HVAC equipment on top of the
Missouri Theater. This work will result in the temporary closure of
Locust Street between Eighth Street and Ninth Street. 
	The work should be completed and the street should be reopened
that day, weather permitting, at 12 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are
urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use
an alternate route whenever possible.
