Temporary Closure Of Alley Between Eighth Street And Ninth Street Just
North Of Broadway

COLUMBIA, MO (October 20, 2006) -- The Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, October 23, 2006, at 7 a.m.,
Professional Contractors and Engineers, the contractor working for First
National Bank, will continue with construction of parking lot
improvements at 801 E. Broadway. This work will result in the temporary
closure of the alley between Eighth Street and Ninth Street just north
of Broadway. The work should be completed and the alley fully reopened,
weather permitting, Thursday, October 26, 2006, at 7 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in
the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
