Compost on sale to the public
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Columbia Public Works Solid Waste Division
announces compost for sale to the public while supplies last. Compost
may be purchased from the city’s sanitary landfill and compost
facility located at 5700 Peabody Road (Directions: from Columbia, go
north on Paris Rd/Route B to North Brown Station Road to Peabody Road).
	Compost may be purchased on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Compost may also be purchased on these Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon:
Oct. 28 and Nov. 11. A loader will be on-site to assist.
	The fee for one cubic yard is $12 plus tax. A minimum fee of $12
plus tax is required. For quantities greater than 100 cubic yards
purchased in one calendar month, the discount fee is $8 plus tax.
Appointments may be scheduled for loads of 10 cubic yards or more
anytime during the week.
