One lane of Highway 63 restricted on Wednesday
(Columbia, MO) -- On Wednesday, May 2, weather permitting, the
Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT) will make repairs to its highway-rail
crossing at US Highway 63. The crossing is located in north Columbia
between Paris Road and Brown Station Road. The repairs, expected to take
approximately four hours, will be done during the middle part of the day
in order to avoid both the morning and evening traffic rush periods.
Motorists on southbound US 63 will be restricted to one lane while the
repairs are made.
The COLT is a short line railroad owned and operated by Columbia
Water & Light and provides railroad freight service to Columbia and
mid-Missouri.
