Community Circle: ‘NOT IN OUR TOWN’
Free Community Showing and ‘NIOT’ Buttons

(COLUMBIA, MO) - Join fellow citizens at Douglass High School,
Room 114, 301 N. Providence, on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 4 p.m. to view
the next community screening of “NOT IN OUR TOWN,” as well a slide
show of Columbia’s own “Spark in the Park.” This free event is
offered by the city of Columbia Human Rights Commission.
"NOT IN OUR TOWN" is a film of inspiring stories about different
communities whose citizens worked together to fight intolerance and
create hate-free towns, cities, workplaces and schools. The documentary
series is to keep the "NOT IN OUR TOWN" campaign and conversation alive
in Columbia so that we can become a community welcoming of diversity and
free of intolerance.
