US Airways Express schedule change announced
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Air Midwest, a subsidiary of Mesa Air Group
d/b/a US Airways Express at Columbia Regional Airport has announced a
change in its flight schedule effective July 8, 2007. Air Midwest
operates under an Essential Air Service contract with the Department of
Transportation. All US Airways Express flights from Columbia Regional
Airport will connect through Kansas City International Airport. At that
time, flights to St. Louis Lambert International Airport will be
discontinued.  
	Columbia Regional Airport’s goal continues to be frequent,
reliable air service to meet traveler’s needs. According to Jeff
Hartz, Manager of Essential Air Service Program for Mesa Air Group,
“the schedule change was necessary to increase connectivity to
other flights, offer more flexibility in scheduling and most
importantly, increase reliability of the service.”  
	The new schedule using Kansas City International Airport (MCI)
allows for connections to more than 30 destinations across the United
States. Kansas City recently ranked #1 for overall satisfaction with
J.D. Powers and Associates in its North American Airport Satisfaction
Survey. 
	Tickets may be purchased through US Airways at 1-800-428-4322
(www.usairways.com), Midwest Airlines at 1-800-452-2022
(www.midwestairlines.com), an authorized travel agency or using an
Internet travel site. Use Columbia as your departing and/or returning
airport (code COU). Fares are currently $59 for one-way fares (plus
