Sixth Annual Cycle-Recycle
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - As part of the Mayor’s Challenge: Bike, Walk
& Wheel Week, the PedNet Coalition is partnering with The Columbia/Boone
County Health Department (CBCHD) for the Sixth Annual Cycle-Recycle
event. This event will be held at the Health Department, 1005 West
Worley, on Sunday, May 13, beginning at 1 p.m.
	Since 2002, more than 600 second-hand bicycles have been
donated, fixed up and given to members of the Columbia community during
this event. Staff from Cyclextreme, Walt’s Bike Shop, Klunk’s and
Jim’s Bike & Key, along with other volunteers, will be on hand to help
with small adjustments to the bicycles.
	
Schedule for the day:
●	1 p.m. - Registration opens
●	2 p.m. - Comments from Mayor Hindman and bicycle giveaway
begins; the SafeKids Coalition is also providing free bike helmets,
which will be given away with each bike
