Boone County flood update: officials keep watching river levels
COLUMBIA, MO (May 11, 2007) - Member agencies and governments
participating in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) are closely
watching river levels and levees but report stable conditions throughout
Boone County, as of this morning. The EOC is running on a standby basis
for the rest of the day. It will resume full operation, if warranted by
the river’s crest, which could occur this evening or tomorrow morning,
based on the National Weather Service’s mid-morning predictions.
There is no need for volunteers or donations of food and water at this
time. If conditions change, a new call will go out.

facility is functioning normally.
