City offices closed on Thanksgiving Day

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22,
in observance of Thanksgiving Day. Offices will reopen  Friday, Nov.
23.
	Residential refuse and blue bag collection will not be made on
Thanksgiving Day and will be delayed until Friday; Friday’s collection
will be delayed until Saturday.  Questions concerning holiday refuse
collection should be directed to the Solid Waste Division at 874-6291.
	City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be
closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced on
Thanksgiving Day.
	Though administrative offices for both the Police and Fire
departments will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, all other emergency
services will be available.
