Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health presents the 2007 Fall
Health & Fitness Expo
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness &
Health’s (MCPFH) Fall Health & Fitness Expo has partnered with the
YouZeum Starlight Bike Ramble to provide an extended evening of fun,
fitness and health for the entire family. The MCPFH will kickoff the
pre-Ramble activities this year with an outdoor health and fitness expo
on Saturday, Sept. 29, outside the YouZeum (608 E. Cherry St.) from 6 -
7:45 p.m. The Expo is a cooperative effort between the MCPFH and members
of Columbia’s health and fitness community. Admission to the Expo is
free for all attendees. There will be free promotional items,
information and services provided by the vendors throughout the event.
Attendees at the Expo can have their bicycle run through a
safety check before the Ramble, get their blood pressure checked,
receive a skin cancer screening, collect information on smoking
cessation, get their bicycle adjusted to achieve maximum fitness value
with every ride and much more. Attendees can also register to
participate in the Bike Ramble at the Expo. Though the Bike Ramble
provides the cornerstone for the entire evening’s events, the Health &
Fitness Expo is for everyone and anyone with an eye on fitness and
health.
