Interested-party meeting for GetAbout Columbia project
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces an
informal public meeting concerning four elements of the GetAbout
Columbia project. The meeting will be held Wednesday, April 23, 5:30 -
7- p.m. at the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway, in the Mezzanine
conference room.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed
intersection improvements at:
§ Providence Road and Business Loop 70
§ Garth and Business Loop 70
§ Providence Road and Green Meadows Road
§ College Avenue and Rogers Street
Information, maps and diagrams for these projects will be
available for public review at the meeting. City staff and consultants
from HDR engineering company will be present to answer questions and
receive comments. These intersection improvements are part of the
overall $22 million non-motorized pilot program being funded by the
Federal Highway Administration.
