Chip seal maintenance
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that from Monday, Aug. 25, at 7 a.m. through Friday, Aug. 29,
at 3:30 p.m., the Street Division will begin chip seal maintenance on
the following streets: Rainwood Place from north end to Chapel Hill;
Garrison Place from north end to Chapel Hill; Grand Avenue from Business
Loop to Sexton Road; Florence Avenue from Donnelly to Worley; Forest
Avenue from Garth to Madison; London Drive from West Boulevard to west
end; Parkade Boulevard from Garth Avenue to Texas; Parkade Boulevard
from Business Loop to cul-de-sac; Kathy Drive from Texas to Texas;
Creasy Springs from Wingham to Business Loop; Garth from Southern Street
to Business Loop; Eighth Street N from North Boulevard to Rogers Street;
Alton from Eighth Street to Seventh Street; Court Street from Paris Road
to Hickory Street; East Boulevard from Mehl Road to Eastland Circle;
Keene Court from Keene Street to west end; Adenwoods Court from north
end to Maple Leaf Drive; and Elleta Boulevard from east end to Range
Line Street.
	This work will result in temporary lane restrictions. The work
should be completed and the street fully reopened each day, weather
permitting. Parking on the street will be restricted during this period.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in
the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
