Public comment sought on 2009 city/county social service needs
COLUMBIA, MO (May 5, 2008) - Public input is needed to assist in
determining the greatest social service needs in our area. The Boone
County Community Services Advisory Commission has received funding
proposals from 31 local social service agencies to provide service
programs in Columbia and Boone County. Funding requests total $1,041,016
in city funding and $131,352 in county funding for 50 different program
services.
In order to best identify how social service programs impact the
Columbia/Boone County Community, the Boone County Community Services
Advisory Commission is requesting written comment from the public.

Comments are requested no later than Friday, May 30. Comments may be
