Celebrating National Women’s Health Week - CBCHD hosting Health &
Wellness Fair for Women

COLUMBIA, MO (May 9, 2008) - The Columbia/Boone County Health
Department, in conjunction with several local agencies and businesses,
will promote women’s health during the Health & Wellness Fair for
Women. Daughters, mothers, grandmothers and sisters are all encouraged
to attend.

This event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, from 1-4:30 p.m. at the
Columbia/Boone County Health Department, 1005 W. Worley St. 

The workshop will offer free health screenings (BMI, skin cancer, bone
density and glaucoma), massages, food demonstrations with tasty samples,
as well as beauty, fitness and relaxation tips. This kid- friendly event
will also offer prizes including: cookbooks, fitness accessories, gym
and movie passes.
