East Side Sidewalk Project Phase III to Begin Monday, August 20

COLUMBIA, MO (August 14, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, August 20, at 7:00 am; Tom Adair Construction, Inc. will begin work on the East Side Sidewalk Phase III project at various locations along Windsor Street, MelbourneStreet, Ripley Street, Bass Avenue, Locust Street, Waugh Street, and Broadway. This work will result in temporary lane restrictions and parking restrictions.  The work should be completed, weather permitting by November 2012.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.

Supporting documents are attached which include a council summary of the project including a map and a PDF of this release.
