Temporary sidewalk closure at Park and Ninth

COLUMBIA, MO (March 21, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that the sidewalk at Park Avenue and Ninth Street will be closed from Friday, March 23, until Aug. 15. The closure will take place on the southwest corner of the intersection of Park Avenue and Ninth Street, and continue west along Park approximately 100 feet and south along Ninth approximately 95 feet.

The closure is the result of a new building and sidewalk being constructed by Alex and Marti Waigandt. Pedestrians are asked to use an alternate route during the construction work.
