Roll-Over Accident on I-70 with One Ejection

COLUMBIA, MO (May 19, 2013) - For Immediate Release:

Roll-Over Accident on I-70 with One Ejection

 

On 05/19/2013, members of the Columbia Fire Department were dispatched, at 7:03 pm, to a reported roll-over accident with an ejection at the 126 mm of west bound I-70, the Range Line off ramp. A 2002 Chevrolet Pick-up Truck rolled into the median between the west bound exit ramp and I-70 at Range Line Rd. Witnesses reported seeing one individual ejected from the truck as it rolled 

 

Crews arrived on the scene to find one male individual in the grass away from the truck and a second male individual walking around the scene. The first individual was transported to University Hospital as a Trauma Alert and the second individual refused treatment. Sheriff’s Deputies and Officers of the Columbia Police Department had the off ramp closed for approximately 45 minutes.
