Detour Planned for Hinkson Creek Trail Bridge Closure at Capen Park	

COLUMBIA, MO (October 6, 2014) - Construction has started to replace the pedestrian bridge on Hinkson Creek Trail at Capen Park.

 

During the construction process, trail users will be detoured along Rock Quarry Road.  It’s anticipated that the work may be completed in about eight weeks, if weather cooperates.

 

The bridge replacement is being funded by the voter-approved Park Sales Tax and a Recreational Trails Program grant through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
