Numerous Street Repairs will cause closures and lane shifts the week of October 20 - 

COLUMBIA, MO (October 18, 2014) - Roadway work the week of October 20 - 


1. Beginning Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 a.m., Columbia Public Works Street Department will begin street repairs on Rangeline Street between Wilkes Boulevard and Rogers Street.  The work associated with the street repairs should be completed by Thursday, October 23 at 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. The street repairs will result in a street closure on Rangeline Street.  There will be no through traffic between 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day of the closure.

2. Beginning Monday, October 20 at 7:00 am., Cook Concrete will begin street repairs on E Walnut Street between Williams Street and Ann Street.   This will result in a street closure on E Walnut Street between Williams and Ann St.  The work associated with the street repairs should be completed by Friday, October 31 at 4:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

3. Beginning Monday, October 20 at 7:00 am., Columbia Public Works Street Department will begin asphalt street repairs on West Broadway between East Parkway and Stadium Blvd.   This will result in possible delays on Broadway. Flaggers will control various lane closures during the repairs. The work associated with the asphalt street repairs should be completed by Tuesday, October 21 at 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. 

4. Beginning Monday, October 20 7:00 a.m., River City Construction will begin to install a driveway approach and remove curb in the 500 block of Southampton.  This work will cause a lane shift of the west bound lane of E Southampton Drive.  The shift on E Southampton Drive will take place between Providence Road and State Farm Parkway. The work associated with the lane shift should be completed by Saturday, November 8 by 3:00 p.m. weather permitting.  

Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
