GetAbout Columbia to Provide Free Valet Bike Parking at Columbia Area Earth Day Festival

COLUMBIA, MO (April 22, 2016) - If you’re planning to bike to the Columbia Area Earth Day Festival, GetAbout Columbia, in partnership with Columbia Parks and Recreation will provide a safe and secure location to store your personal belongings. Valet bike parking will be available from 12 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24 at the northeast corner of Sixth and Elm. It’s like a coat check for your bike. Cyclists will also be offered a free bike taillight for their green efforts.

Funding for GetAbout Columbia is provided by the Federal Highway Administration’s Non-Motorized Transportation Program. Education and encouragement programs are administered by the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department.
