Arrest made in shots fired in the 500 block of Sexton Road

COLUMBIA, MO (January 29, 2016) - Officers arrested Curtis Brown, 71, of Columbia in reference to the shots fired in the 500 block of Sexton Road on 1/23/16.

 

During the investigation detectives determined a physical altercation occurred at a residence in the area between Brown and a male subject. Brown retrieved a firearm from his person and began firing rounds. A bullet struck a nearby vehicle and residence. There were no reported injuries.

 

Brown was arrested on 1/28/16 at 4:15 p.m. at CPD for Armed Criminal Action with a to be set bond and Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon with a bond of $4,500.00.
